What We Do:

At Triangle Drumming and Wellness, we use the power of music, percussion, and West African drumming to engage and uplift participants to new levels.

We provide a rich and robust learning experience for wellness programs, drum classes, drum circles and community events.

Who We Are:

Triangle Drumming and Wellness strives to share the healing power of rhythm, drumming and music with all populations. Founder and musical director Ronnie Pulley became enamored with West African drumming and has continually fueled that passion by learning and teaching African drums and rhythm since 2005.

Who We Are (Continued):

Triangle Drumming and Wellness is also a part of the International Drum Circle Facilitators Guild (DCFG) and trained in the Health Rhythms protocol for using music and drumming for wellness and healing.

What To Expect:

Our interactive rhythm programs educate, inspire, energize and connect, while offering participants a safe, fun and relaxed space to learn and play together.  Whether it be a stress management program, drumming class, or facilitated drum circle, everyone is encouraged to learn and support each other during the journey.

What To Expect (Continued):

As a team, we learn, make mistakes, support each other, and grow together. Participants experience a heightened sense of joy and elevated seretonin levels, the ‘feel-good’ endorphine, which reduces stress and anxiety.

Get Involved:

Participants are challenged to learn, share, grow and become more confident in not only playing drums and music together, but in all areas of life. Triangle Drumming and Wellness does this by encouraging participants to listen, laugh, take risks, align with each other, and let go of stress and old patterns that hold us back.

How It Works:

We work closely with our clients, co-creating programs that are tailor-made to meet the needs of their group, class, or organization. Normally this entails teaching in our studio or bringing imported drums and hand percussion, along with an interactive rhythm program that engages, uplifts, and energizes.

The Take-Aways:

Participants are built-up and encouraged through stepping stones of successful experiences; learning musical patterns, techniques, and African rhytms.  Participants leave feeling uplifted and inspired, with insight and understanding that is long-lasting.

“It’s really good therapy, even if I’m not all that good. I enjoy it and you’re a really good and patient teacher.  See you Monday!”

– Jason Snyder

“Drumming is the ultimate stress relief! I have an incredibly demanding job and am often mentally and physically exhausted at the end of the day. However, the Monday night drum classes with Triangle Drumming and Wellness are a fantastic way to reset and recharge. Even after a long crazy day at work, I come home from drum class de-stressed and re-energized.”

I just wanted to let you know how much I’ve enjoyed this class, and what a great teacher you are! I’ve been through a challenging 1 1/2 years. This class, the drum, the ladies and you, have added some fun back into my life! I am grateful to have found something that speaks to me! Thanks so much!
